Senator Ted Kennedy died today after a rough battle with brain cancer. He was a leading figure in the Democratic party and a champion in the Senate for 47 years. He began his career reluctantly, but emerged as a significant figure in American history. I take comfort in knowing that his battles will continue to be fought for years to come by the generations of people he touched and influenced. He's finally at peace up above with his three big brothers, who I'm sure are very proud that he carried a piece of them with him until the very end. Thanks, Teddy.
